About Me

Katrina has more than twenty years of investigative experience. 

Katrina completed eleven years of service with the NSW Police Force, in both metropolitan and rural jurisdictions, undertaking criminal investigations in areas such as domestic violence, break and enter, fraud, robbery, personal violence offences including assault, motor vehicle accidents and traffic related matters, and coronial investigations including industrial and workplace accidents. 

Additionally, Katrina has worked in the community and human services environments and undertaken factual and circumstance investigations in areas including insurance, worker’s compensation, work injury damages, public liability, and workplace investigations. 

Katrina holds relevant qualifications in investigations, interviewing adults/children/vulnerable persons, business, work health and safety, management and leadership, community services, and training and assessment. She has a sound knowledge investigative practice, and an ability to interpret and understand legislation, statutory requirements, industry codes of practice and standards, and policies and procedures. 

Katrina has strong communication and negotiation skills and has developed professional working relationships with community members, government organisations, self-insurer organisations, insurance companies, and governing bodies. She has extensive experience in the conduct of interviews by way of face to face, telephone and video conference, audio records of interview and written statements. Katrina takes extreme pride in her work and completes thorough investigations to the highest quality, adhering to deadlines and timeframes.
